For my Honours Project in University, I have decided to focus on weapon design. The theme I have chosen is Post Apocalyptic Makeshift Weapons. I wanted to do something different than the weapons that you see in zombie-themed games, TV and films, such as the spiked baseball bat because I wanted to create something new and interesting but has been made out of everyday objects. This is my seond melee weapon design for my Honours Project. It is a makeshift bladed gauntlet, inspired by the design of the gauntlet weapons from the Fallout video game series, crafted entirely out of a Gardening Glove, Garden Shears, Small Garden Fork, some bolts and some duct tape.
