For my Honours Project in University, I have decided to focus on weapon design. The theme I have chosen is Post Apocalyptic Makeshift Weapons. I wanted to do something different than the weapons that you see in zombie-themed games, TV and films, such as the spiked baseball bat because I wanted to create something new and interesting but has been made out of everyday objects. This is my third melee weapon design for my Honours Project. It is a makeshift Kusarigama-based weapon made out of Ice Hockey Gear. The Hockey Puck is the weight at the end of the chain and the sickle is made out of a serrated edged hockey stick with an ice skating blade attached to the other side of the hockey stick blade.
